Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 9, 2026 Effective Date: May 9, 2026

1. Introduction

InQI, Inc. ("InQI," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the InQI platform, including the websites at www.inqi.ai and www.inqi.app, our mobile applications, our AI-assisted tools and agents, our exports and reports, our APIs, and all related products, features, datasets, and services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy is incorporated into, and read together with, the InQI Terms of Service at www.inqi.ai/about/termsofservice (the "Terms"). Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given in the Terms.

By creating an account, activating a project, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and that we will handle your personal information as described here.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information we collect from and about:

  • Account holders and users of the Services;

  • Visitors to our websites and marketing pages;

  • Prospects who interact with us through forms, demos, email, or events; and

  • Authorized users of accounts held by your employer, firm, or organization.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services that we link to or integrate with. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide

We collect information you provide directly when you:

  • Create an account (name, email, password, role, firm or company, phone — to the extent you provide it);

  • Complete your profile (professional details, areas of practice, jurisdiction, marketing preferences);

  • Subscribe to a Plan or activate a project (billing name, billing address, payment method tokens, taxpayer information where required);

  • Activate a project on a property (the property address, parcel identifier, project description, scope of work, and any related notes you submit);

  • Upload content (drawings, photographs, videos, PDFs, CAD files, models, captures, sketches, prompts, and other User Content);

  • Communicate with us (support tickets, sales inquiries, feedback, survey responses, references and testimonials).

We do not store full payment card numbers. Card payments are processed by our payment processor, which receives and tokenizes your card data directly under its own privacy practices.

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect:

  • Device and connection data (IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, language, time zone, screen size);

  • Usage data (pages and features viewed, links clicked, search and address queries, time spent, navigation paths, error logs, performance and crash diagnostics);

  • Cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies (see Section 7);

  • Analytics events (product analytics, marketing analytics, A/B testing, heatmaps, session replay, conversion tracking).

3.3 Property and Address-Related Information

When you enter an address, parcel, or property identifier, we and our third-party data providers retrieve, generate, and process information about that property — including parcel boundaries, ownership records, zoning, setbacks, FAR, topography, utility, environmental, flood, regulatory, planting, cost, and aerial imagery data — to deliver the Services. Some of this data is publicly available; some is licensed from commercial data providers; some is generated by our AI-assisted tools. To the extent any such data identifies a natural person (for example, an owner name in a public record), it is treated as personal information under this Policy.

3.4 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from:

  • Single sign-on providers (for example, Google) when you choose to sign in with them;

  • Payment processors (transaction status, last four digits of card, billing country);

  • Marketing and analytics platforms (campaign source, lead enrichment, prospect data);

  • Public records and licensed data providers (property data tied to ddresses you query);

  • Referral and affiliate partners (referrals you initiated or received).

3.5 Sensitive Information

We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as government identification numbers, racial or ethnic origin, biometric data, precise health information, or precise geolocation beyond the property address you submit). Please do not upload sensitive information unless it is necessary for the Services. If you do, you authorize us to process it as described in this Policy.

3.6 Children

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@inqi.ai and we will delete it.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services, including authenticating accounts, executing project activations, retrieving and displaying property data, generating AI outputs, storing User Content, producing exports, and supporting your projects over time;

  • Bill and collect Subscription fees, Project Activation fees, taxes, and any applicable charges;

  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, support requests, security alerts, renewal and price-change notices required by law, and changes to the Services or this Policy;

  • Personalize your experience, remember your preferences, and recommend features;

  • Improve and develop the Services, including testing, debugging, performance monitoring, model evaluation, feature development, and roadmap research;

  • Send marketing communications (only where permitted by law, and you may opt out at any time);

  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, chargeback fraud, infringement, and violations of the Terms;

  • Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from authorities, and enforce our agreements; and

  • Aggregate and de-identify information for benchmarking, analytics, research, and product development. Aggregated and de-identified data is not personal information.

4.1 Legal Bases (for users in the EU/UK)

Where applicable law (including the GDPR and UK GDPR) requires a legal basis to process your personal information, we rely on: (a) contract — to deliver the Services you request; (b) legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Services and our business in a way that does not override your rights; (c) consent — for marketing where required, and for certain cookies; and (d) legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.

5. AI and Model Processing

The Services use artificial intelligence, including large language models and other machine-learning systems, some of which are operated by InQI and some of which are provided by third-party AI vendors. To deliver AI-assisted outputs, we route your prompts, project context, and relevant User Content to these systems.

  • No training on your User Content by default. We do not use your identifiable User Content to train our own foundation models, and we contractually require our third-party AI vendors not to use your User Content to train their general-purpose models, except where you have expressly opted in.

  • Aggregated and de-identified usage data may be used to evaluate, monitor, and improve our Services and our AI-assisted features.

  • AI Outputs may be retained on your project for your continued access. You may delete them at any time, subject to our retention schedule and any legal preservation obligations.

  • Human review. A small subset of interactions may be reviewed by our personnel or contractors solely to debug, evaluate quality, investigate abuse, or improve safety. Such review is conducted under strict confidentiality.

You acknowledge the AI, Data, and Professional Disclaimer in the Terms: AI Outputs are decision-support and require independent professional verification before use.

6. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as described below.

6.1 Service Providers and Subprocessors

We share information with vendors and subprocessors that perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Cloud hosting, storage, compute, and CDN providers;

  • Aerial imagery, mapping, parcel, zoning, topography, environmental, and cost data providers;

  • AI and language-model providers;

  • Payment processors and tax providers;

  • Email, transactional messaging, customer support, and CRM platforms;

  • Analytics, attribution, A/B testing, and session-replay providers;

  • Identity, authentication, and security providers; and

  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting, audit).

These providers are contractually bound to use personal information only to perform services for InQI and to maintain appropriate security and confidentiality. A current list of categories of subprocessors is available on request at support@inqi.ai.

6.2 Within Your Organization

If your account is part of a team, organization, firm, or workspace, the account administrator(s) may have access to your account information, project content, usage, and audit logs. The administrator(s) may also configure, restrict, or terminate your access. Your interactions within a shared workspace may be visible to other authorized users in that workspace.

6.3 Legal, Safety, and Compliance

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, valid legal process, or lawful government requests; to enforce our Terms; to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of InQI, our users, or the public; or to investigate fraud, abuse, or infringement.

6.4 Business Transfers

If InQI is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this Policy or a successor policy that provides materially equivalent protection.

6.5 With Your Direction

We share information when you direct us to — for example, when you generate a shareable export, invite collaborators, integrate a third-party tool, or submit information to an authority through the Services.

6.6 Aggregated and De-identified Data

We may share aggregated and de-identified data with partners, researchers, customers, and the public, provided it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

6.7 No Sale of Personal Information for Money

InQI does not sell personal information for money. Some sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or analytics may qualify as "sale" or "sharing" under certain U.S. state laws. See Section 11 for your rights to opt out.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Operate the Services and remember you between sessions;

  • Authenticate your account and protect security;

  • Measure performance, errors, and usage;

  • Personalize features and content;

  • Conduct analytics and A/B testing;

  • Measure marketing campaign effectiveness; and

  • Deliver, where applicable, advertising on InQI and on third-party platforms.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, our cookie banner where presented, and your device privacy controls. Disabling certain cookies may impair the Services. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Account information — for the life of your account and for a reasonable period after closure to support reactivation, fraud prevention, and legal records;

  • Project content and User Content — for the duration of your active Subscription and project, plus the post-cancellation access window described in the Terms (currently at least 30 days after the end of access for one-time export);

  • Billing and tax records — for the period required by tax, accounting, and financial-records laws (typically up to 7 years);

  • Logs, analytics, and security records — for the period needed to operate, secure, and improve the Services;

  • Aggregated and de-identified data — indefinitely.

After the applicable retention period, we will delete, anonymize, or aggregate personal information unless we are required by law to retain it.

9. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls and least-privilege principles, logging and monitoring, regular vulnerability management, vendor due diligence, and incident-response procedures.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access (see Section 3.4 of the Terms).

10. International Transfers

InQI is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your personal information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those of your country. Where required (for example, for transfers from the EU, UK, or Switzerland), we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and supplementary measures.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.

11.1 U.S. State Privacy Rights (California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and others)

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Know / Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it;

  • Correct inaccurate personal information;

  • Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;

  • Portability — receive a copy in a portable format;

  • Opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of certain targeted advertising;

  • Limit use of sensitive personal information (where applicable);

  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny, charge differently for, or provide a different level of service because you exercised your rights; and

  • Authorized agents — you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

To exercise these rights, contact support@inqi.ai with the subject line "Privacy Request" and your account email. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11.2 California Specific Disclosures (CCPA/CPRA)

In the prior 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 3 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation tied to project addresses, professional information, inferences, and User Content). We disclose these categories for the business purposes described in Section 4 and share them with the categories of recipients described in Section 6. We do not sell personal information for money. We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law; you may opt out by emailing support@inqi.ai or by enabling the Global Privacy Control on your browser.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

11.3 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact support@inqi.ai.

11.4 Other Jurisdictions

We respect privacy rights granted by applicable law in other jurisdictions. Contact support@inqi.ai to make a request.

12. Marketing Communications

We may send you marketing communications about the Services, new features, content, and offers. You may opt out at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any marketing email or by emailing support@inqi.ai. Operational and transactional communications (billing, security, legal notices, and account events) are not marketing and will continue while your account is active.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites, applications, and services (for example, single sign-on providers, payment processors, cloud storage, AI vendors, mapping providers, and AHJ resources). When you interact with these third parties, their privacy practices apply, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies.

14. Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no industry consensus on how to interpret these signals, we do not currently respond to them. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control where required by law.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email, in-product notice, or a prominent notice on www.inqi.ai. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Services and, if applicable, cancel your Subscription as described in the Terms.
